Sonic
As the Cosmic Funk Express momentarily disbands for Zack Kim is going back to his native South Korea, my guitar homie and good friend, Suan Aik is going to the US to pursue his degree in engineering in Purdue, Indiana. Jamming is never going to be the same again bro! This guy saw me take up the instrument for the first time. It has been a long way since then.
Leaving this Friday and me being unable to send him off, I decided to pay him a visit last night and we free jammed for the last time. As usual, I really enjoyed it. One last jamming session for old times sake! I took the drums for a while, but I really had fun when we were just on guitars! A bit of jazz and a lot of rock spontanously flowing in great momentum. It was down memory lane of the good old school days when Thursdays were made as the jamming day at Black Widow Studios at the shop lots in front of my school.
Got this huge Malaysian flag for Suan Aik to help him mencintai negara bila di tanah asing. Own a Malaysian flag if you are going overseas. It helps you to bring a piece of home with you. And here we are saluting in absolute solemness...

Good posture, although we both had nuts for uniform body participation. You could see that I was the better salut-er as I was from National Service! Those days marching in the sun made me a good salut-er I guess...
Before leaving, Suan Aik offered his electric and amp to me as he would not be using or bringing them to America. I took it in all thankfullness - this was one of the first electrics that I've used! And the amp totally rocks! I finally have a Peavey for an amp. Both have become my second loves. (I still am very much in love with my Squier and Roland arsenal)

Alright! Jamming is possible at my place now. All you need to do is just to come over, and we'll have fun. Too bad for Suan Aik. He needs to take a flight back to jam with me. The same with Harold, who went to Oklahoma yesterday.
So many people leaving nowadays. :(
To Suan Aik, thanks for the new axe and amp! They will be well taken care of I promise. Do have a great time in America! You'll love it there. God bless! It was great playing with you from the start. You've thought me a lot!
There you have it. Want me to pimp you on my blog? Easy. Give me an electric guitar! :)
